After downloading and installing the extension simply refresh the Facebook page and what you will get is the old Facebook chat. Shortly released after the launch of Google Plus, this revamp instead of competing with the new social network, created dissatisfaction amongst the Facebook users. Facebook could have made the chat sidebar better by at least adding an option to show only online friends.

Disable the newly introduced Chat Sidebar in Facebook with Sidebar Disabler
TE Link the name in chat windows diswbler to contact's profile. The new Facebook sidebar can send offline messages, which as of now was missing in Facebook Chat module.
TE Enable or disable extension features via a settings panel. There is an option to switch back to the Facebook chat sidebar, in disablfr you change your mind.
